I was working as an elementary substitute teacher on Thursday, March 11, 2020, but then on March 12th all public schools in the state of Michigan were closed until further notice due to the Covid Virus outbreaks in the state and country. This changed all our lives drastically, I was especially concerned for the teachers, parents, and their children. We had to maintain and survive in world that had shut down and no longer operated in the ways we had known, causing an enormous hardship on education for our children.

This global crisis forced parents to homeschool their children until online learning was offered and available for all students with internet access. As an educator and my love for teaching and learning, I wanted to create something educational, yet engaging & fun. Clothing is necessary and can be fun, so Rainbows of Learning was launched in full color.
